CELEBRATING FOUR YEARS WITH OUR MELODIC VERTICAL DISCOVERY BOX | 2020
Bringing wine, art and music together to celebrate our fourth birthday
"Happy birthday!" cried Orpheus to the Raven. "And to you too, Orpheus," said the Raven. "Let's make music, wine and art!"
As we approach our fourth birthday on 22 November 2020, we reflect on an amazing four years that have passed, and look forward to a bright and creative future yet to unfold.
To celebrate in style, we've created just 42 Orpheus and the Raven Number 42 Melodic Discovery boxes, each containing the 2016, 2017 and 2018 vintages of our Cape Red Blend.
Each vintage is paired with a unique artist and song to bring together the elements that inspire us – music, wine and art. Get your Melodic Discovery box exclusively at Port2Port.

THE DRINKS BUSINESS AWARDS | OCTOBER 2020
O&R amongst the best in the world
"We'll never know unless we explore the possibilities," said a determined Orpheus.
The Orpheus and the Raven labels have been awarded a prestigious international award by global publishing house The Drinks Business.
O&R's label design partner, Bravo Design, was nominated as one of five finalists in the Best Packaging and Design for Wine, and secured Second Place overall during an awards ceremony streamed on YouTube last week.
"We'd never have known if we didn't look to the future and test ourselves against the best," Orpheus said of the accolade. "It is fantastic to be recognised as one of the best in the world."

Tasting notes for our Old Bush Vine Chenin Blanc, in 6/8 time
We decided to celebrate International Drink Chenin Day a little differently this year ...
We celebrated International Drink Chenin Day this year a little differently, by describing how our Orpheus & the Raven Old Bush Vine Chenin Blanc tastes in music. With Orpheus on acoustic guitar and bassist Rob Stemmett adding soulful depth, Sting's St Agnes and the Burning Train captured the depth and complexity of our Chenin.
